Eleni from Vasili's Garden shows us her recipe for what she called 'Mother Nature Juice'.

We love this juice creation. It tastes great and is filled with a range of nutritionally dense fruits and vegetables.

The juice is also created using produce that is easily found at the supermarket and are all really inexpensive to buy. You can buy all this goodness for less than $5 ($4.60 to be exact when I checked the produce prices at Woolworths). With a store bought cold press juice averaging at $10 (based on metro Melbourne prices), it does not take a mathematician to see that juicing at home can provide huge cost savings.

Eleni has crafted this juice to include some awesome nutrients that will do wonders for your body and also taste great.

For example, the pear in this juice is great for adding some sweetness but it also contains a range of essential benefits and it is a quick and natural source of energy. Pears also contain anti-aging properties, help to cool the body down, relieve fever and are a great source of dietary fibre.

The cucumbers are a natural cleanser that nourish the body and flush out built up toxins. In one cup of cucumber, you'll get 14% - 19% of your daily vitamin K (important for blood clotting and healthy bones) requirement. You'll also get vitamin B and C also gain minerals like copper, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.

Beetroots are great for stimulating proper liver functions and will keep it nice and healthy.

Lastly, any recipe where you can squeeze in a handful of leafy greens without impacting the taste is a winner in our books. Feel free to use whatever you have on hand. Leafy greens are packed with vitamin K and have high levels of antioxidants can help protect you from many diseases including diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
